Day 11 Lisbon Boarding the ship day.

Today Donna and I got cleaned up and went for a morning walk after breakfast. We met up with Joe and Cindy by the sand sculptures near the river and grabbed some tapas and cocktails nearby. Then we walked back to the hotel to queue for our bus ride to the ship. We had already walked there earlier but figured we should be with the group while boarding. After getting onboard and having some bubbles and getting the keys for our room, we found our bags just outside our door. After a little unpacking we hooked up with the Larkins and did a little exploring of the ship. The ship is so small we finished in time to put on our life jackets for the safety briefing. Then we went to dinner with 180 of our closest friends. Dinner was not all that impressive. I ordered the prime rib but was surprised when it came out thinly sliced like it was for a sandwich. It was also lukewarm at best. We will see how it goes tomorrow night. After dinner we went up to the Dome bar for a "final final" drink, and then off to bed. Tomorrow we have a full day in Lisbon but no tours scheduled. Here are a few pics from today.

A sardine store where you can buy all different kinds of sardines.

The trolley cars that run all over.

The restaurant where we had tapas.

The grilled calamari.
